These inclusive awards recognize two senior students, historically a man and a woman, who have made the most effective use of their time at UW-Madison, demonstrating productivity in the classroom and commitment to community. Established in 1928, the awards continue to be supported by the family of Theodore Herfurth and Teddy Kubly.
Two awards of $2,000 are given annually to graduating seniors who have made the most effective use of their time at UW-Madison. Honorable mentions may also be named and receive a cash award of $250- $500 each.
