Julie Stubbs | Director of the Office of Undergraduate Academic Awards

Julie Stubbs is the founding director of the Undergraduate Academic Awards Office, where she advises students on campus-wide awards and national scholarship opportunities. She holds a PhD in history, is a member of the National Association of Fellowships Advisors, and has served on the Wisconsin Academic Decathlon board of directors. Before coming to UW-Madison, Julie was the program director for Gaining Options: Girls Investigate Real Life (GO-GIRL), a math enrichment program for middle school girls in Detroit, Michigan.

 

Debbie Cole | Assistant Director of the Office of Undergraduate Academic Awards

Debbie Cole joined the Office of Undergraduate Academic Awards in 2013. She has a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Columbia College. She is a member of the National Association of Fellowships Advisors, and has been a member of the Wisconsin Association of Academic Advisors. Prior to joining the UAA Office Debbie was the Director of the Academic Success Center at UW-Baraboo/Sauk County. She has also worked in the UW-Madison Office of Admissions for eight years where she was a transfer admissions counselor.
