Goldwater Scholarship provides $7\,500 for undergraduate expenses to students who plan to pursue a PhD and research career in mathematics\, the sciences or engineering. (Note: Students who plan to get an MD/PhD would qualify\, but not those who plan to pursue an MD alone.)Current juniors and sophomores–defined as having 1 or 2 additional year(s) of undergraduate study after 2024-25–may apply for the Goldwater.
