National Honor Societies:

Phi Beta Kappa is a prestigious academic honor society committed to fostering and recognizing excellence in the liberal arts. The Alpha Chapter of Wisconsin traditionally invites no more than three or four percent of the University’s bachelor’s degree candidates to join. Students are invited on the basis of demonstrated achievement in breadth and depth of study in the liberal arts.

Phi Kappa Phi is one of the nation’s oldest and most prestigious honor societies that is open to students in all fields.  It is a non-profit organization, meaning that more of the benefits go to members. Membership invitations are extended to the top 10% of graduate students, the top 10% of seniors and top 7-1/2% of second-semester juniors in each school and college.
